Two South Vermillion Middle School teams presented in the CSforGood state finals at the Indiana Statehouse in Indianapolis on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. Hoosier Helper focused on providing a safe online space to connect community members needing help with people who are willing to offer their skills and services as volunteers. Team members include Deider Buffo, Lainy Gilman, Kaci Hill, and Mason Ruble. SV Little Readers focused on providing an interactive and fun way to encourage early literacy by connecting older students and teachers with preschool students. Team members include Lyla Lindsey, Sofia Montanez, and Jesus River Segoviano. SV Little Readers brought home the first place trophy in the middle school division. Over 60 team projects were submitted and only 18  projects were invited to present at the statehouse. Great job, teams!
