Recent Email Activity

After a few staff members accidentally clicked a link in a fraudulent email—part of a broader wave of similar phishing attempts currently affecting several area schools—some of our email accounts sent unauthorized messages.
Our IT team quickly secured the accounts, but we want to ensure our community remains vigilant regarding emails recently received.

What to Watch For: Please carefully review your inbox and do NOT open attachments, click links, or respond to emails containing:

• Requests to "Review and Sign" a document
• Prompts to "Check records" or verify account details

Recommended Actions

• Delete the email immediately if you receive a message matching this description.
• Do not enter credentials or personal details if you accidentally clicked a link.

If you are ever unsure about the legitimacy of a message claiming to come from South Vermillion, please do not reply to the email itself.  Instead, please reach out to the school directly.
